Accreditation Courses
Effective January 1, 2023, new and revised antibiotic stewardship requirements will apply to all Joint Commission– accredited hospitals and critical access hospitals. One requirement is providing competency-based training and education for staff, including medical staff, on the practical applications of antibiotic stewardship guidelines, policies, and procedures.

MDstewardship is a team of Infectious Disease Physicians and Clinical Pharmacists that provide comprehensive Infectious Disease support for healthcare facilities of all sizes. We specialize in Infectious Disease consults and off-site antimicrobial stewardship through our TeleStewardship® services.
We are available 24/7 to provide “real-time” antibiotic stewardship for your hospital and customize antibiotic use for your patients to help reduce unnecessary antimicrobial use.
The Difference Between Tele-Stewardship®
Our services differ from telemedicine because we do not work directly with patients. We provide antibiotic and infectious disease education for rural healthcare providers. Our physicians work directly with pharmacists and health care professionals that prescribe antibiotics by providing training and education regarding antibiotics and infectious diseases.
